Nogales High School offers a wide range of award-winning ensembles for its students. 

Jazz Band

The Nogales Jazz Band is a year-long, audition-based class. Students rehearse and perform many styles of music; swing, Afro-Cuban, Latin, samba, rock, funk, and contemporary. The Jazz Band attends a variety of local high school jazz festivals during the spring semester,

Nogales Noble Regiment

The Nogales Noble Regiment is Nogales High School's marching band that competes and performs at a world level. This ensemble travels to perform and compete at prestigious events such as the Western Band Association Grand Championships, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and London's New Year's Day Parade.

Wind Ensemble

The Nogales High School Wind Ensemble is the premiere Wind Band for advanced woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists. The Nogales High School Wind Ensemble performs standard and contemporary band repertoire including transcriptions and college level pieces. Advanced technical concepts and skills are taught as required by the musical selections. The Wind Ensemble performs at various contests and festivals.

Indoor Color Guard

IThe Colorguard is a component of the Marching Band during the fall, using choreography and equipment to enhance the visual effect of the marching band show, and is judged as part of the overall visual appeal as well as in its own category. From January through April, the Colorguard competes in Winter Guard, an indoor Colorguard activity. The Colorguard is under the direction of Gabriel Escobedo.

Indoor Drumline

Drumline is a component of the Marching Band during the fall,  but from January through April, the Drumline competes in the Southern California Percussion Alliance, an indoor Drumline activity. Drumline is under the direction of Robert Bowen.
